On June 26, Hooman joined a diverse community of professionals for the Coffee Meet Series hosted by COLAB Cafe in Kapitolyo, Pasig. This event brought together individuals passionate about collaboration, innovation, and purpose-driven work. Our Founder and Chief Digital Officer, Eeman Bulotano, led the talk titled “Designing and Building Human-Centered Digital Transformation” โ offering a grounded yet forward-thinking perspective on how individuals and organizations can grow in the digital era.
Earlier that day, our team came together for our monthly meetupโa routine touchpoint that keeps us aligned and grounded. Over lunch, we ate, reconnected, and had fun before heading to the event with a shared sense of purpose.

Why Digital Transformation Must Be Human-First
At the heart of Eemanโs talk was a message that continues to guide us at Hooman: Digital transformation isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about adapting technology to serve people. He shared how digital transformation as we know it emerged during the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) โ a period marked by automation, data, and connectivity. But without centering the human experience, transformation efforts can easily become fragmented or inaccessible.

Thatโs why Hooman works at the intersection of technology and empathy. In the session, Eeman highlighted that real transformation begins when people are empoweredโwhen systems are designed not just for efficiency, but for real use, adoption, and understanding.
Skills That Drive Change
As professionals in architecture, design, and related fields listened, the conversation naturally shifted from tools and processes to skills. Drawing inspiration from the P21 Framework, Eeman underscored the importance of the 4Cs: Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity. These are the real drivers of sustainable innovationโskills that arenโt automated, but deeply human.

Small Shifts, Big Impact
Throughout the session, the audience engaged in lively Q&A moments. Some raised questions about implementation, others about mindset. Eemanโs responses were consistent: transformation is a process, not a product. It doesn’t have to start big. In fact, small shiftsโlike rethinking workflows or using open-source digital toolsโcan lead to long-term impact.

After the talk, Eeman was invited by the COLAB team for a short interview on why collaboration matters across industries.
